Marine Ecology Exploration by Paddleboard – May 30 & June 8
Join us for a memorable stand-up paddleboard tour along the coastline. Glide across the water as you explore the vibrant world of the rocky intertidal zone and kelp forest, teeming with life and mystery. Our guided experience will immerse you in the fascinating connections between land and sea, and the hidden wonders that thrive just below the surface. From swaying forests of kelp to the creatures that call them home, discover the delicate balance of this and other coastal ecosystems while enjoying a unique adventure on the water.
When: May 30 from 9 am to 10:30 am and June 8 from 5 pm to 6:30 pm

Enjoy some ocean therapy as you float on boards and dip your toes in the water. Don your science hat and uncover simple methods to monitor and protect your local kelp forests. Join us for an unforgettable immersion into this ocean wonder!
When: June 7 from 10 am to 11:30 am

Information for All Events
Ideally, you should have some stand-up paddleboarding experience and be able to paddle in light wind. As certified stand-up paddleboard instructors, we will help you get on the water safely and with confidence.
High quality paddleboards, paddles, lifejackets, leashes and whistles are included.
Maximum Number of Participants: 10-12
The location and event may change or be canceled due to weather. Registrants will be notified of any changes.
What to Bring
- Weather-appropriate clothing (layers encouraged)
- Towel, change of clothes (just in case, can be left on shore)
- Strap for glasses/sunglasses
- Phones can be left on the shore or placed in one of our dry bags
- Water in reusable water bottle
- Curiosity and community spirit!
