Another Red Ride Out is on the horizon! April 12 2025
This year’s Ride Out will be a Southern Gulf Islands Adventure!
Here is our plan so far! Timing and or location may shift depending on weather. Final itinerary will be confirmed approximately 1 week ahead and will consider weather, tide, current and other factors to ensure a safe and enjoyable Ride Out for all participants.
9am Ferry to Saltspring Island. We will help coordinate carpooling and board transport over to Saltspring Island. There are no reservations on the Saltspring Ferry. Target 8am arrival at Swartz Bay (7:30am departure from Victoria).
Option A Ocean Tour 10-3 Beginner/Recreational Level Ocean Tour to Russell Island with a lunch stop and hike/walk on the island. (Bring your own lunch, snacks, water). Total distance 3-5km
Option B Ocean Tour 10-3 Recreational+/Intermediate Level Ocean Tour to Russell Island and Princess Margaret Island with a lunch stop on Princess Margaret island. (Bring your own lunch, snacks, water). Total distance 8-10km
3:30pm food and beverage stop at Rock Salt Cafe in Fulford Harbour with draw prizes.
5:50pm Ferry back to Swartz Bay
Red Paddle Co boards will be provided no charge! Please let us know if you would like a board when booking. The Ride Out is a great chance to try out many of the great boards offered by Red! There are some awesome new boards for 2025. Blackfish Paddles and Red Paddle Co. paddles also provided for FREE with your booking. There are some amazing new paddles for 2025 too.
